Employers Given 1-Year Extension On ACA Health Coverage
The Obama administration will provide businesses an additional year before they are required to provide health care coverage to employees or pay penalties under the Affordable Care Act, the U.S. Department of Treasury announced Tuesday, citing complexity of the requirements and the need for more time to implement them effectively. IRS explains health care transition rules
The Internal Revenue Service released more guidance on the July 2 decision to postpone parts of the health care law. The guidance refers to the employer mandate and reporting requirements.
