ServSafe® Food Safety Training Program Overview

ServSafe® is the industry leader for food safety education. More than 800,000 managers nationwide have been certified in the program, which 95% of all state and local health jurisdictions recognizing ServSafe® as meeting their requirements. ServSafe® training empowers you and your employees to protect against food-borne illness outbreaks, minimize insurance cost, reduce liability risks, and improve food quality. 

 

The GRA ServSafe® courses are designed to provide participants with viable information on potentially hazardous foods and safe food handling practices, the HAACP system of food safety; establishing, purchasing, and receiving standards and procedures; designing facilities and selecting appropriate equipment and guidelines for working with regulatory agencies. 

 

ServSafe® Food Safety programs are available in both English and Spanish.

ServSafe® Alcohol Program Overview

Implementing the same approach that ServSafe® pioneered for food safety training, the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation (NRAEF) is proud to introduce another new standard in risk management training. The ServSafe® Alcohol program outlines effective responsible alcohol service practices for your entire establishment. Taking a holistic approach, the program advocates team-based prevention of difficult intoxication situations. Proper alcohol service is a responsibility we all share. The consequences of service violations can be serious, so it's vital that your entire staff gets involved to help prevent improper service. The new Fundamentals of Responsible Alcohol Service course assists in giving your staff the training they need to help assure every drink served is a safe one.

Onsite Training

For your convenience the GRA now brings superior ServSafe® training to your establishment. The GRA will arrange for a highly skilled instructor to do an on premise training for groups of ten or more. Onsite Fees will apply.
