Thank you for signing up to volunteer with TEAM Georgia.

Since 1985, TEAM Georgia has worked to save lives and reduce injuries on Georgia's roads and waterways.

We draw on the support of individual volunteers to end impaired driving. Through public education programs like Safe Holiday and the Designated Driver Booths at Atlanta's highly-trafficked sporting and cultural arenas.

See below for the volunteer events happening in September and October.

Earlier this month, TEAM Georgia, The Falcons, The NFL and TEAM Coalition officially launched the Responsibility Bowl 2014! The results of round 1 are in... TEAM Georgia and the Falcons beat the Colts in total number of designated driver sign ups and therefore advance to round 2.

Thank you to our wonderful volunteers who helped out at the last two preseason games, and the Saints vs. Falcons game. Together we have already signed up over 2,000 designated drivers this season.

We love our TEAM Georgia volunteers, they work hard for an important cause, and always have a good time doing it!

Each volunteer receives a meal ticket voucher and place to watch the game, after the 1st Quarter.

    We need your help!

We're hosting an information/education table at the Inland Seafood Expo. They anticipate more than 5000 chefs and restaurateurs in attendance, and we'd love to have you there supporting and sharing more about TGK's mission to provide crisis grants to employees of Atlanta's restaurant community. (9/15)

Building on the success of last year's Atlanta Eats Live, when food lovers joined us at Verizon Wireless Amphitheater to enjoy incredible food and a rock n roll atmosphere. The event will again benefit The Giving Kitchen, so we'll need some help manning our information table and sharing more with this foodie crowd. (10/5)

Finally, we need some volunteers for the Atlanta Cheese Festival at The Atlanta Botanical Gardens. Volunteers will be manning TGK's table-- sharing general info and selling schwag. This signup is for TGK representatives. We are still in communications with Cheese Fest staff about providing general volunteers so if this signup fills quickly, watch for a following email with more information about how to signup for that opportunity! (10/3)

Ready, set, go! Sign up here

The Atlanta Falcons season is here! Well, actually the preseason is here -- this Friday at 7 p.m. our Falcons will play the Miami Dolphins. TEAM Georgia had a kick off meeting with the Georgia Dome and Falcons leadership team earlier this week about our Designated Driver sign up goals for the 2014 season.

Last year, because of TEAM Georgia's amazing volunteers we signed up nearly 10,000 designated drivers. This year we want to break that record and lead the NFL in safe and sober driving stats.

Remember that in order to be eligible to volunteer at a Falcons game, music concert, or special event you must volunteer for at least one Braves game at Turner Field.

Also, the Braves will have 13 home games this month - we will be randomly selecting TWO more volunteers from the month of August to win gift certificates to a restaurant courtesy of our TEAM Georgia partners at the Georgia Restaurant Association. Winners for the month of July were Carol McIntosh and Edward Husband.

And finally we have two Atlanta Dream games and an Atlanta Steam game. And a special event on August 9th - the Steve Harvey 12th Annual Neighborhood Awards at Philips Arena.

Use the "button links" below to sign up for individual events at each venue, using ourVolunteerSpot online scheduling tool.

If you have any questions or concerns - please do not hesitate to contact me at this email address - teamgeorgia2013@gmail.com - or call at 912-508-5538.
