ATLANTA (August 12, 2015)- One of Atlanta's most beloved local TV shows is moving their Saturday morning broadcast to a highly desirable 7:30 p.m. time slot starting on August 15. The move allows Atlanta Eats to reach a significantly larger audience with its entertaining food and dining programming and continues to shine a light on the dynamic restaurant scene that is making Atlanta famous. On the move to the more coveted time slot, General Manager of CBS46 and Peachtree TV Mark Pimentel says, "Atlanta Eats is a proven ratings winner on WPCH so moving one airing of the show to Saturday Nights at 7:30pm leading into prime time movies is a win for the station and for the fans of Atlanta Eats".
Beyond the Saturday night move of the TV show, the Atlanta Eats brand has also expanded partnerships outside the realm of TV. A recently formed partnership with the Atlanta Journal Constitution, a series of hour-long primetime specials airing on CBS46 this fall, and social engagement at an all time high, the brand of Atlanta Eats continues to be the go-to resource for consumers looking to make food & dining decisions. Founder and show host Steak Shapiro states, "I am ecstatic at the passion that Atlanta has for our program. Being on Saturday nights, where there is a much larger audience to pull from seemed like a natural. I also think the Saturday night/Sunday morning dual airings will be an even greater shot in the arm for the advertising partners and restaurants we feature."
Atlanta Eats will continue to air at its normal time of Sundays at 10:30 a.m. on WPCH
