The Georgia World Congress Center Authority (GWCCA) is seeking firms to develop and operate food and beverage facilities on its campus.
The state agency that oversees the downtown convention center and Centennial Olympic Park, among other facilities, recently put out a request for qualifications. See it here.
The GWCCA envisions an “integrated, full-service food and beverage program” for its campus, and hopes to find a firm to develop and operate new high-end food and beverage concepts.
Other duties include operating retail food and beverage services, catering services and vending services.
Levy Restaurants currently has the exclusive food and beverage contract with GWCCA through 2018. It's had the partnership since 2006.
Statements of qualifications are due back Oct. 5. A finalist could be named Oct. 18.
There are a host of improvements in the works for the GWCCA campus. Read about them here.
