The Jekyll Island Shrimp and Grits Festival need amateur chefs for the non-pro cooking competition. The festival is September 14th-16th, with the cooking competition on September 15th. The Amateur Competition is open to anyone with less than 2 years of professional culinary training or experience with the first place winner taking home $800.
