Professional Bio
I represent Georgia’s restaurant industry with government officials and in the media, advocating for policies that help restaurant owners and operators succeed. My job is to make sure Georgia’s restaurants have a voice where decisions are being made and to keep our members informed about how those decisions affect their businesses.
Favorite app on your phone?
X. It’s my go-to app for keeping up with news, politics, and sports. During the legislative session, it’s a lifesaver for staying on top of breaking developments—and when things slow down, it’s a great place to let my mind wander for a few minutes.
What's something on your bucket list?
A golf trip through Scotland. I’m talking the Old Course, Turnberry, Carnoustie, Muirfield, Royal Troon, and every hidden gem in between. Usually sunshine would be nice, but for this trip I want the full Scottish golf experience: cold, windy, and rainy.
What's your ideal Saturday?
Nothing beats a Saturday afternoon in The Grove. The smell of bourbon in the air, the buzz of anticipation that builds as kickoff gets closer, and best of all, spending time with family and old friends. Half the fun is reminiscing about great Saturdays from the past and hoping that today might become one of those memories.
What motivates you?
Our members. You see firsthand how hard restaurant owners and operators work every day to keep their businesses running and their employees working. That motivates me to do everything I can to make sure their voices are heard and that policies coming out of Atlanta or DC help, rather than hurt.
