NRAEF Raises More than $15M for Restaurant Employee Relief Fund, Begins Processing Funds
The NRAEF's Restaurant Employee Relief Fund (RERF) has raised more than $15 million, with over $850,000 coming from individual donations through RERF.us. More than 40 companies and organizations have contributed to the fund, including Uber Eats, TikTok, PepsiCo, The Coca-Cola Company, Constellation Brands, and Wingstop. With their help, 100 percent of all funds raised will go directly to helping restaurant workers in need.
In just the last two weeks, the NRAEF and industry icon Guy Fieri has been featured on Fox News, CNBC, Good Morning America, The Washington Post, Extra TV, and more to share news about RERF and encourage more donations. The campaign has resulted in more than 1 billion impressions and over $25 million in ad value.
The entire Foundation team is busy responding to applicants, reviewing applications, and processing grants. One RERF grant recipient said, “I'm crying right now I am so thankful and surprised. I can't tell you how much this will help. God bless.”
Stay up-to-date with the fund and the NRAEF’s progress at RERF.us.
