Clubhouse Atlanta's New Home

GRA News,

This week, GRA Foundation Manager, Raymond Mesa had an opportunity to meet with our partners at Clubhouse Atlanta and tour their new facility. Clubhouse Atlanta supports individuals living with mental illness and provides them with a supportive community that fosters friendship, employment, education, and referrals for housing and medical services. Through a structured, work-ordered day, members engage in meaningful tasks across three units: Employment and Education, Culinary and Wellness, and Business. This approach builds confidence and prepares members to transition into the workforce when they are ready.

The Georgia Restaurant Association is a proud partner of Clubhouse Atlanta through the Restaurant Ready program. This initiative, nestled within their education offerings, equips Clubhouse Atlanta members with critical skills for the foodservice industry. Participants receive Restaurant Ready training, free ServSafe certification, resume-building assistance, and interview preparation. Together, we’re helping members develop the confidence and qualifications they need to pursue meaningful careers in hospitality and beyond.

If you are interested in getting involved or hiring any of our Clubhouse Atlanta members, please be sure to reach out to Raymond Mesa, GRA Foundation Manager, to learn more.
