Savannah Alcohol License Renewal Relief Program

On December 15, 2020, Mayor Van Johnson of Savannah announced a new part of their Resilient Savannah plan called the Alcohol License Renewal Relief Program.

This program will allow businesses will to pay for their Savannah alcohol licenses in three equal installments during the first quarter of 2021.

Payments will be due on January 31, February 28 and March 31, 2021. Businesses that wish to participate will sign an agreement and receive a provisional license that can be revoked by the city of the payment terms are not met.

Once the fees are paid in full, the business will receive its regular 2021 license. 

The Mayor and his team hope that this initiative will assist some of the Savannah based businesses through these tough times of economic uncertainty.
