ATL Airport District Launches Inaugural Restaurant Program

Marketing + PR,
ATL Airport District Convention & Visitors Bureau – the official CVB for the cities of College Park, East Point, Hapeville and Union City, Ga. – announces the launch of a new program designed to further engage with restaurants in the four cities.

ATL Airport District CVB’s mission is to generate economic development by engaging with incoming travelers, meetings and conventions to promote awareness of local restaurants. The CVB aims to create an open dialogue with restaurant owners and managers to assess their capabilities, meet their needs and increase reservations.

“We’re always excited to showcase all the culinary talent within the District,” said Cookie Smoak, president of ATL Airport District. “In 2020, it is our goal to recognize our four cities as home to some of the top dining destinations in the state through exciting new initiatives.”

The new program will kick off with a Restaurant Open House on Wednesday, January 15, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Georgia International Convention Center. Local restaurants are invited to attend to learn more about what the CVB has planned for 2020, including events like the 7th Annual ATL Airport District Restaurant Week, along with new training benefits and enhanced marketing initiatives. Each business in attendance will receive one free ServSafe training package and will be entered to win exciting prizes. Restaurant owners and managers in College Park, East Point, Hapeville and Union City can RSVP by emailing info@atldistrict.com.
